The Lowden Pierre Bensusan Signature model is based on Lowden's F-body size which roughly corresponds to the dimensions of a small jumbo or grande auditorium, then sculpted to the specifications of George Lowden's long-time friend and world-renowned master guitarist Pierre Bensusan.

The Bensusan model excels in the refined tones that are perfect for modern fingerstyle. The increased bass response may be due to the "bass-bias" bracing, which Lowden has modified to compensate for the presence of the bevel, while the wood choices may at least partly explain the increase in sustain, clarity and overtones.
