Two preamp circuits give the Supro 1695TH Black Magick Head its own voice

The Supro 1695TH Black Magick Head brings two independent preamp circuits and 25 watts of tube power together in an uncluttered amplifier head. For those looking for their first tube amp, the control panel is pleasantly clear: you’ll immediately find two volume controls and the tone control. This allows you to discover step by step how different settings change your sound, without having to figure out a complicated signal path first.

Volume 1 and Volume 2 provide separate control for the two preamp circuits. With both volumes, you also regulate how the two preamps relate to each other. With Treble and Bass, you can further adjust the sound to your guitar and speaker cabinet. The built-in tremolo adds a pulsating movement, with Speed for the rate and Depth for the intensity. If you want to control the tremolo with your foot, there is a jack for a separate single footswitch, which is available separately.

The preamp uses four 12AX7 tubes and the power amp two 6973 tubes. The power output is 25 watts. The speaker outputs offer connection options for 16-ohm, 8-ohm, and 4-ohm configurations. There is no effects loop, which keeps operation simple when you are putting together your first amp setup.

The black Rhino Hide finish gives the Supro Black Magick Head its recognizable appearance. With dimensions of 52 x 25.4 x 18.5 cm and a weight of 11 kg, it is a compact amplifier head to take to rehearsals or gigs.
