The Laney Digbeth DBV410-4 combines warm bass foundations with adjustable highs
A full bass sound needs not only low tones, but also enough detail to let your playing speak. The Laney Digbeth DBV410-4 combines four 10-inch HH Black Label speakers with a LaVoce compression driver for the highs. This bass cabinet from the Digbeth series forms a starting point for a setup with a separate bass amplifier head. With a power handling of 600 watts and an impedance of 4 ohms, the cabinet offers clear specifications to help you choose your amplifier. Those 600 watts refer to the power handling of the speaker cabinet, not a built-in amplifier.
The HH Black Label ceramic drivers have a vintage-oriented sound with warmth and body in the low-mid range. This gives accompanying basslines a solid foundation and leaves room for the character of your instrument. The 1-inch LaVoce DF10 compression driver complements that foundation with detail in the highs, for example when you want to let the accents of your playing or the character of the overdrive shine through. You can switch this driver off or choose between Full and Half. This allows you to change the contribution of the highs directly on the cabinet, without relying solely on the tone controls of your amplifier.
The speaker configuration consists of four 10-inch HH Black Label ceramic drivers and one 1-inch LaVoce DF10 compression driver. For connection, a combined socket is provided that accepts a Speakon-compatible twist-lock connector or a 6.3 mm jack speaker cable. Before use, check whether your amplifier head is suitable for the 4-ohm load and use a speaker cable. The enclosure measures 930 x 500 x 390 mm, in the order of height, width and depth, and weighs 32.7 kg. There are handles on the sides for moving it. So when assembling your setup, also take into account the space and transport.
