The Les Paul Studio that reveals more than it hides
The Gibson Les Paul Studio Double Trouble is a Les Paul that lays its cards on the table. The uncovered Burstbucker Pro humbuckers with double classic white bobbins are not only a visual statement, they also immediately tell you what kind of guitar this is: direct, raw, and full of character. Gibson developed the Double Trouble line as an extension of the successful Studio series, with all the essential Les Paul features but with a look that says more than the standard Studio ever did.
The sound is exactly what you expect from a Les Paul with Burstbucker Pros: warm and full in the neck, powerful and present at the bridge, and with the push/pull coil-tap on both volume pots, you also have a brighter, single-coil-like sound. The Ultra-Modern Weight Relief in the mahogany body makes it lighter without sacrificing resonance or sustain, and the maple top adds that typical clarity and definition that makes the Les Paul sound so complete.
Specs: mahogany body with Ultra-Modern Weight Relief and maple top, mahogany set-neck with SlimTaper profile, rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, 24.75" scale length, 12" radius, trapezoid acrylic inlays, Graph Tech nut, Aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge with aluminum stop bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, 2x Burstbucker Pro (uncovered, double white bobbins), 2x volume (push/pull coil-tap), 2x tone, 3-way toggle switch. Gloss nitrocellulose finish in Dirty Lemon Burst. Includes Gibson soft shell gigbag.
For the guitarist who wants the essence of the Les Paul, without frills but with just that little bit of extra character.
