Crazy Gibson SG with batwing pickguard in the classic Heritage Cherry finish.

The Gibson SG Standard has a funny history. Initially, this guitar was known as the Gibson Les Paul from 1961... Huh? Indeed, this model was intended as the successor to the heavy Gibson Les Paul. With only a thin mahogany body, this was the answer to the complaints about the weight of the Les Paul. But there was a small problem. mr. Les Paul himself found the guitar ugly and not representative of his vision of the ultimate guitar. He then decided not to give his name to the model anymore. So there had to be a new name, and so it happened! The Gibson SG went on to become one of the most legendary guitars in rock music history. Think big names like Angus Young, Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Duane Allman and more recently, Derek Trucks. A Gibson SG has a very pronounced sound. It bites, pokes through the music well, and in the right hands the guitar can even sound very subtle. The Gibson SG is iconic in every way. The guitar is finished in a classic Heritage Cherry finish, and is equipped with a Slim Taper neck that is very nice to the touch. In terms of pickups, the 490R & T pickups have been chosen, which reproduce the PAF sound in a convincing way. The guitar comes with a beautiful hard shell case.
