The Hazuki Signature Guitar: Translating Japanese Rock Precision to Any Playing Style

The Ibanez HZK1 is the official signature guitar of Hazuki, lead guitarist of the iconic Japanese rock band Luna Sea. This instrument reflects his playing style: versatile, controlled, and always full of character — from atmospheric clean passages to heavy, layered riffs.

At the heart of the HZK1 are the Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers, one of the most versatile pickup systems on the market. The push/pull button on the volume potentiometer allows you to switch between two voices: Voice 1 for a warm, vintage humbucker tone and Voice 2 for a bright, active sound with more attack and definition. The 5-way toggle offers additional switching options for a wide tonal palette. No battery noise, no hum — pure signal.

The body is made of alder, the neck a five-piece maple/wenge in the slim Wizard 7 shape, reaffirming Ibanez's reputation for playability. The rosewood fretboard with 24 frets, a 16" radius, and Offset MOP inlays provides a comfortable and fast playing surface. The Lo-Pro Edge tremolo ensures stable tuning during intensive use, while the Gotoh tuners provide precise and reliable tuning. Includes hardcase.

The Ibanez HZK1 is an instrument for the guitarist who wants to hold the precision and versatility of one of Japan's most influential rock guitarists in their hands.
