Eastman Romeo Goldburst
Eastman's most groundbreaking Hollowbody: The Romeo. In a chic Goldburst Finish!
The Eastman Romeo is quite a feat in the field of semi-hollow electric guitars. It is an instrument that effortlessly navigates between the eras of the old jazz masters and those of the contemporary rock and blues legends. And not only in sound; also in terms of looks the Eastman Romeo would not be out of place in a catalogue from the fifties. And yet you immediately believe that you are dealing with a contemporary design here, partly thanks to the modern, offset contours of the body and the very refined details. Take for example that Goldburst Finish, which Eastman previously successfully introduced on their T486 model. Or what do you think of the Gotoh Tuners that are just a bit smaller than you are used to, but therefore integrate seamlessly into the design of the headstock. When you connect the guitar, you are greeted by 2 very versatile Lollar Imperial Humbuckers, which effortlessly provide the most diverse jazz, funk, soul and rock sounds. Each note gets a solid backing from the semi-hollow construction made of a solid spruce top and the mahogany back and sides. The Eastman Romeo in Goldburst is a very expressive and unique guitar that is an asset to any guitarist. Including Hardcase.
