They're finally here: the new Fender Player II Stratocaster models! These guitars exude timeless Fender charm, but under the hood there are a lot of contemporary upgrades. The most noticeable refinement you'll feel when you first pick up the guitar is in the neck. The rounded fret edges feel wonderfully smooth and immediately give the guitar a premium feel along. The modern C-profile with 9.5" radius further contributes to a fast, accessible playing experience that feels immediately familiar.

In terms of sound, the Player II is a Stratocaster through and through. The trio of Alnico V Single Coil pickups sound crystal clear and snappy, with that recognizable, sultry midrange that you expect from a Strat. The Player II Strat feels at home in any musical situation, from funk to pop and from blues to rock. The 5-way pickup switch is a true jukebox; whether you're looking for a warm neck pickup tone, a biting bridge pickup bark or are looking for Mayer-esque in-between sounds - the Player II Strat does it with verve. This HSS variant has a humbucker in the bridge position for an even more versatile palette of sounds! The two-point tremolo and ClassicGear tuners contribute to maximum stability without compromising on tone.
