The Gibson Les Paul Junior Ebony that shows one pickup is all you need
The Les Paul Junior was conceived in 1954 as an affordable entry-level model. But what was intended as an entry-level model grew into one of the most beloved and copied guitar designs ever. The reason? Simplicity that works. A mahogany body, a single P90 Dogear pickup, a wraparound bridge, and nothing more. In an Ebony finish, the Junior has a timelessness that is hard to describe but instantly palpable.
That one P90 is all you need. Raw, direct, and full of character, it sounds good clean, better overdriven, and best when you just let it do what it wants. It's not a guitar for subtlety; it's a guitar for expression. The wraparound bridge ensures maximum directness in tone delivery, without extra mass or mechanics between you and the sound.
The mahogany body and mahogany neck with a Vintage '50s profile give the Junior its warm, organic resonance. The rosewood fretboard with Acrylic Dot inlays and 22 frets on a 24.75" scale length is simple and effective. The tortoise shell pickguard adds the only visual accent to a guitar that makes its impression with tone, not with looks. Includes Gibson hardcase.
The Les Paul Junior Ebony is for those who understand that the best guitar is not the most complex, but the most honest.
