Martin D-28 Re-Imagined
Martin's primal Dreadnought with Indian Rosewood sides and back: the legendary D-28.
Never change a winning team, especially when it comes to a success story like the Martin D-28. That's why this Re-Imagined Dreadnought from the legendary American brand is completely vintage correct with only a few modern upgrades, because if it was good enough for artists like Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan and Neil Young at the time, it must be right! The new D-28 has period correct specifications such as open tuners, an aged toner top with a retro look, antique white accents and a faux tortoise pickguard combined with an updated neck profile, so that the guitar will also appeal to modern musicians with its comfortable playing experience. The D-28 has also made the bracing on the top forward-shifted allowing the top to resonate more freely. The result? A grand sound full of complex overtones as befits a real Martin D-28.
