The Ernie Ball Music Man John Petrucci Majesty 6 in Emerald Sky is not a guitar for compromise. The balance, the access to the higher frets, and the feel of the neck are the result of years of refinement between one of the world's most demanding guitarists and one of the most respected guitar builders.

The sound of the Majesty 6 is versatile in a way few guitars can match. The DiMarzio Dreamcatcher (bridge) and Rainmaker (neck) humbuckers are specially tuned to the combination of okoume body, shield maple top, and mahogany neck – resulting in a clear, defined attack with warm sustain. Add the Fishman Powerbridge piezo saddles, and you have both the power of magnetic pickups and the acoustic transparency of piezo in one instrument. The independent volume controls let you mix both signals as desired, in mono or stereo.

The Majesty 6 is built with a neck-through construction, an ebony fretboard with 24 medium-jumbo stainless steel frets, a scale length of 25-1/2" (64.8 cm), and a neck radius of 17" (43.2 cm). The neck width is 1-11/16" (43.0 mm) at the nut and 2-1/4" (57.2 mm) at the last fret. Schaller M6-IND locking tuners ensure stable tuning, the custom John Petrucci Music Man tremolo system plays extremely smoothly, and the matte black hardware completes the package. The guitar comes with a custom Mono case.
