The double chamber in the mahogany body gives the guitar an acoustic resonance that no solid instrument can match, while keeping the weight so low that long sets are a pleasure instead of an ordeal. The two McCarty III humbuckers were specifically developed for the Hollowbody platform. They pick up the natural resonance of the semi-hollow construction and amplify it rather than suppress it. The result is a tone with exceptional air and depth: warm and vocal in the neck, defined and expressive in the bridge. Via the two push/pull tone pots, you can switch both pickups independently from humbucker to single coil. The 3-way toggle on the upper horn of the body provides familiar operation.

The 24.594" scale length and the asymmetrical Pattern Vintage neck profile are inspired by the best vintage LP guitars from the 1950s. The profile is slightly thicker on the bass side for a relaxed, comfortable grip along the entire neck length. Rosewood fretboard with 22 frets, 10" radius, and Bird Inlays. PRS Two-Piece stoptail bridge and Phase III Non-Locking Tuners keep the tuning stable without interrupting the organic character of the hollowbody construction.
