Laney Cub - Super 12

The Laney CUB-SUPER12 combines tube character and Secret Path reverb in a compact combo

True tube tone, straightforward controls and plenty of options to discover your own sound: the Laney CUB-SUPER12 makes it easy. This 15-watt guitar combo combines a single channel with a switchable boost and built-in reverb. This allows you to explore different sounds from a basic tone without a complicated amplifier setup. The separate input for less than 1 watt is useful when you want to play at lower volumes at home. This makes it a great first tube amplifier, but also a compact companion for guitarists who consciously choose simplicity.

The Class AB tube design responds to your playing and invites you to experiment with gain and volume. Keep your sound clean for open chord parts or push it into overdrive for blues and rock. The boost gives you extra options for driving the preamp, for example when a riff or solo needs more drive. With the three-band EQ, you can fine-tune the lows, mids and highs to your guitar. The digital spring reverb uses the algorithm from the Black Country Customs Secret Path pedal and adds a spatial spring reverb sound, from a subtle touch to a more atmospheric effect.

Three hand-selected 12AX7 tubes handle the preamp, while two EL84 tubes form the power section. A custom-voiced 12-inch HH speaker delivers the sound. The effects loop allows you to place a delay after the preamp, for example; a line-out and a connection for an external speaker cabinet are also available. The boost and reverb can be controlled with a footswitch. The suitable FS2-MINI is optionally available and is not included as standard. The combo weighs 12 kg and measures 390 by 430 by 235 millimeters in height, width and depth.

Want to discover what a tube combo adds to your playing feel? The CUB-SUPER12 offers a direct, complete foundation that lets you focus primarily on playing and finding your sound.
