This Gibson Custom Shop Made to Measure '59 Les Paul Standard was specially compiled for Dijkmans Guitars in close collaboration with Tom Fowle of the Murphy Lab. The Wide Tomato Burst finish immediately catches the eye with its rich red tones and wide burst transition, while the Ultra Light Aging gives it a subtly played-in character: fine lacquer checking, a hint of patina on the hardware and minimal signs of wear. The hand-selected maple top with vivid flame figuring makes this instrument visually unique.

What makes this '59 Standard extra special is the configuration with P90 pickups. These single-coils deliver an open, raw and extremely dynamic tone with pronounced midrange bite and direct response. From sparkling clean to gritty overdrive, this guitar oozes character. The Bigsby B7 vibrato tailpiece adds an extra dimension in expression and gives the instrument an unmistakable vintage personality, without compromising stability or playability.

The body is solid mahogany with a hand-selected maple top. The neck is mahogany with a period-correct '59 profile and a rosewood fretboard. The combination of P90 pickups and the mahogany/maple construction provides a rich, layered tone with powerful midrange, sparkling highs and direct, singing sustain. Murphy Lab Ultra Light Aging, Bigsby B7, nickel hardware and a matching Custom Shop case complete this instrument.
