The Gibson Les Paul Standard 50's is a tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of innovation and convincingly revives the authenticity of these vintage instruments without having to take out a second mortgage. The Les Paul Standard 50's features a solid mahogany body with a beautiful maple top, a Vintage 50's mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and—of course—the Acrylic Trapezoid inlay. No compromises have been made in the hardware either, with the ABR-1, also known as the classic Tune-O-Matic bridge, combined with an aluminum stopbar tailpiece. The Gibson Deluxe tuners with keystone knobs complete the package, along with the aged top-hat controls. The Burstbucker 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups—equipped with AlNiCo II magnets—are the absolute icing on the cake, convincingly recreating the old-school PAF sound.
