The king of OM models, including high-quality Fishman Aura VT cartridge and rosewood back & sides!

The Martin OM-28 is one of the most legendary acoustic steel-string guitars ever made. With its compact size, fresh tone and incredible sustain, this instrument is a dream to play. This OM-28E is completely finished, thanks to the scalloped bracing that really brings the sound to life. The combination of a spruce top and East Indian rosewood for the sides and back is a traditional recipe that guarantees sparkling highs and deep, full basses. This provides a great basis for expressing yourself on this guitar, whether you're an avid fingerpicker or more into heavy rhythm guitar work. The ebony fingerboard, vintage toner finish and of course the beautiful herringbone binding around the top complete the whole. And with this OM-28E version - where the E stands for Electric in this case - you are immediately ready for the stage thanks to the built-in Fishman Aura VT system. Includes hard case!

What is the difference between OM and 000?

At first glance you probably won't see the differences between the 000 model and the popular OM or "Orchestra" model. Both Bodyshapes are indeed almost identical, but the differences lie in the neck. The 000 has a man hour of 24.9", where the OM has a man hour of 25.4". And you can feel that difference: the string tension is lower with a 000, and all frets are a bit closer together. A second difference is the width of the nut: it is a fraction wider with an OM.
