V-Class bracing, Grand Pacific shape and a beautiful Wild Honey Burst finish
One of the highlights of NAMM 2019, in our opinion, was the news that Taylor had launched a new body shape. The so-called "Grand Pacific" shape is best described as a Slope Shoulder Dreadnought, giving the guitars a delightfully traditional look. This Taylor Builder's Edition 517e Grand Pacific WHB features a beautiful Wild Honey Burst finish, making it an undeniably distinctive guitar on stage. The back and sides are crafted from Tropical Mahogany, giving the guitar a particularly warm tone. This is further enhanced by the Grand Pacific shape, which has a grand tone without being undefined. Thanks to V-Class Bracing, the guitar's projection is unparalleled, and the instrument is completely balanced. Both high and low on the neck, every note counts and is beautifully expressed. The mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard feels comfortable, and the Expression System 2 sounds superb. Includes a deluxe hardshell case.
