The Bourgeois Aged Tone OM with Bearclaw Sitka Spruce and Panama Rosewood: Rare Wood, Exceptional Tone
The Bourgeois Aged Tone Series Panama Red OM is a guitar for enthusiasts seeking something special. The combination of an Aged Tone bearclaw figured Sitka spruce top and Panama rosewood back and sides is rare and sounds accordingly: clear, layered, and with a rich harmonic complexity rarely found in other wood combinations.
The Aged Tone treatment opens the cell structure of the Sitka spruce soundboard, allowing the guitar to respond with the suppleness and warmth that typically only develops after decades of playing. The bearclaw figuring gives the top a striking pattern that also makes the guitar visually special. Panama rosewood is known for its warm, rich tone with tight bass and crystal-clear trebles. The OM size offers the perfect balance between intimacy and projection: ideal for fingerstyle, singer-songwriters, and studio recordings.
The mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, Waverly nickel oval tuning machines, abalone slotted squares and diamonds inlays, a vintage signature wood rosette, and an ebony belly bridge complete an instrument that is perfect in every detail. 20 frets on a 25.5-inch scale length. Supplied with a hardshell case.
A guitar you play once and never forget.
