Beautiful Gibson ES-175, a real must-have for jazz guitar enthusiasts!

The Gibson ES-175 is an icon among hollow-bodies, and this Custom Shop 2012 edition immediately demonstrates why. Everything about this guitar exudes tradition, craftsmanship, and a deep musical soul. This is the kind of instrument you don't just play, you have a conversation with—warm tones, rich harmonies, and dynamics you'll instantly fall in love with.

With its fully hollow maple body and arched top, the ES-175 has that characteristic, airy resonance that has inspired jazz guitarists for decades. But don't underestimate it: thanks to the two '57 Classic humbuckers, you also get a beautiful, round overdrive with that characteristically sweet midrange that only a good archtop can deliver. Clean, it sounds silky smooth, warm, and defined; with a bit of gain, it creates a delicious vintage crunch while retaining nuance.

The neck plays exactly as you'd expect from a Custom Shop: smooth, comfortable, and with a clean finish. The medium C profile feels instantly familiar, and the combination of the rosewood fingerboard and traditional parallelogram inlays gives the guitar a luxurious look found only in Gibson's upper echelons.

Visually, this is an instrument to be proud of. The classic sunburst finish, stylish multi-ply binding, and elegant Florentine cutaway make this an ES-175 that sounds as beautiful as it looks. The hardware is solid and reliable, and the guitar feels like an instrument that will last for generations.
