Olympic White in Nitro with Extra Tinted Maple and three V63s that fulfill John Suhr's 'new old friend' promise

The Suhr Classic S Antique Olympic White is a guitar that, from the very first minute you play it, makes you feel like you've known it for years. The Olympic White finish in nitrocellulose lacquer on the Alder body has a timeless look that immediately harks back to the best S-types of the 1950s and 60s, and the Extra Tinted Maple neck has a warm, amber glow that completes the vintage look. The Antique treatment provides subtle aging that gives the guitar a character you won't find in a standard Classic S.

The Indian Rosewood fretboard with a 60's C Vintage Medium profile (.830"-.950") plays comfortably and invitingly, with 22 medium Stainless Steel frets, dot inlays, and a 9"-12" compound radius. Three V63 single coils via a 5-way switch with volume and tone, complemented by the SSCII noise cancelling system for a hum-free signal. Gotoh 510 bridge with steel block, Suhr locking tuners, weight 3.36 kg, scale 25.5", includes gig bag.

The V63 single coils are deliberately less hot than the V60 variants in the standard Classic S. They sound more open, airier, and respond more sensitively to touch, making them ideal for players who want to fully bring out the nuances of their technique. In combination with the Nitro finish and the Antique treatment, this Classic S Antique Olympic White sounds and feels exactly as John Suhr intended.
