Vemuram Shanks II Silicon Fuzz: Dynamic and Versatile Fuzz developed with John Shanks

The Vemuram Shanks II is an exceptional fuzz designed in collaboration with renowned guitarist and producer John Shanks. Inspired by the circuits of the Fuzz Face, Tonebender, and Buzzaround, but with its own character that goes beyond each of those classics individually. Thanks to two silicon transistors, one FET, and three orange drop capacitors, the Shanks II is extremely dynamic and responds beautifully to your guitar's volume knob.

The Shanks II sounds full and expressive across its entire range: from bright, shimmering chime at a low volume setting to a full, aggressive fuzz reminiscent of Zeppelin, Clapton, and Hendrix at maximum gain. The tone control makes the pedal suitable for both biting single coils and warm humbuckers, and the cleanup when rolling back the volume is truly beautiful. John Shanks himself describes it as "the child of the original 3 knob and the 4 knob".

The Shanks II is hand-made in Japan by Vemuram, runs on a 9V battery or adapter, and has an internal Bias trimpot for further tone shaping. A fuzz for the guitarist who wants to combine the best of vintage and modern in one pedal.
