The Alhambra CS-1 CW E8: the crossover guitar that combines the best of two worlds
The Alhambra CS-1 CW E8 is an instrument for guitarists who want to combine the playability of a steel string with the warm, full sound of a classical guitar. Alhambra's Crossover series has been specially developed for players who are used to a narrower neck but do not want to compromise on the character of nylon strings. With a 48mm nut, a truss rod in the neck, and a cutaway, the CS-1 CW E8 feels immediately familiar, whether you are switching from an acoustic or electric guitar. Handmade in Spain, by a company that has been building classical guitars for over fifty years.
The sound is full, warm, and direct. The solid red cedar top responds quickly and provides a rich tone with a pronounced midrange and a soft attack that is characteristic of nylon strings. The solid mahogany back and sides complement the sound with depth and warmth. The cutaway provides access to the higher positions without compromising the acoustic properties of the instrument. Plugged or unplugged: the CS-1 CW E8 sounds convincing in both cases.
The mahogany neck with truss rod offers stability and is adjustable, which guarantees playability over the years. The rosewood fretboard offers a smooth, fast playing experience. The scale length is 650 mm. The Fishman Flex M Blend system combines an undersaddle pickup with an internal microphone, controlled via a compact preamp with volume, tone, and blend control. The controls are discreetly integrated and give you all the control you need on stage. Supplied with gig bag.
For the guitarist who is ready for the stage and wants an instrument that moves with them, in every style and at every level.
