Crazy Tube Circuits Unobtanium: Dumble and Klon Centaur in one pedal, with effects loop
The Crazy Tube Circuits Unobtanium is one of the most ambitious overdrive pedals Crazy Tube Circuits has ever released. Two of the most mythical and coveted sounds in the guitar world, the Dumble amplifier and the Klon Centaur, have been brought together in one compact pedal. The name says it all: sounds that are normally unattainable, now finally within reach.
The left side offers Dumble-inspired tones in two circuits: the SSS circuit for a full-range, organic low-gain overdrive with addictive compression, and the ODS circuit for more gain and midrange focus, perfect for singing leads full of sustain. Switch between both circuits with an external footswitch. The right side delivers Klon-like sounds with a choice between buffered and true bypass, an optional extra gain structure and an active treble control. The built-in effects loop makes it possible to place effects between the two circuits for maximum flexibility.
The Unobtanium is handcrafted in Greece by Crazy Tube Circuits and runs on 9V power. An exceptional pedal for the guitarist who wants to explore the holy grail of overdrive sounds.
