The Dingwall that Nolly Getgood built for players who see six strings not as a luxury, but as a necessity
The Dingwall NG2 "Nolly" Signature 6-String Metallic Black is a modern 6-string bass guitar developed in collaboration with Adam "Nolly" Getgood, known from Periphery and his work as a producer and mixer in modern metal. This instrument is built for players who want to combine maximum range with fast response, tight low-end, and a sound that holds its own even in the heaviest mix.
The Dingwall fan-fret construction is its most striking feature: each string has its own optimal scale length, resulting in an exceptionally tight and defined tone across the entire range. The low B and F# strings sound full and focused without fading, while the higher strings remain clear and articulate. Dingwall's FD-3 pickups deliver a powerful, modern sound with plenty of definition and dynamics, driven by the active 3-band EQ.
The neck plays fast and precisely, with a profile that feels comfortable during longer sessions despite the six strings. The Metallic Black finish gives the instrument a sleek, professional look that matches the no-nonsense approach of this model. With 24 frets and the characteristic Dingwall bridge, intonation across the entire range is accurate and stable.
Six strings, fan-fret precision, and the signature sound of one of modern metal's most sought-after producers.
