The AR503CE is where Eastman's tradition of handcrafted archtops becomes accessible to the serious guitarist. With a solid spruce top and a Florentine cutaway, this instrument combines the warm, open resonance of a true archtop with the playability you need to reach the entire neck. The Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbucker—designed by the man who invented the PAF—delivers a tone instantly recognizable as vintage jazz and blues. Warm, nuanced, and with excellent dynamic response. Combined with the resonant laminated flame maple body and solid spruce top, you get a sound you wouldn't expect in this price range. The maple neck with ebony fretboard, Traditional Even C-profile, and 25" scale plays smoothly and precisely.
