There are few guitars that capture the imagination as much as Telecasters from the 1950s. This '51 Nocaster from the Fender Custom in Heavy Relic is a great example of this; this guitar is just right! With its ash body and rift-sawn maple neck, the sound is immediately recognizable and nice and twangy, even without plugging in. This unmistakable character also remains beautifully plugged in, thanks to the hand-wound Blackguard Pickups and the 50's style Telecaster bridge. The 1950 Blackguard neck profile is nice and chunky but has a modern twist: thanks to the compound radius, this Custom Shop plays smoothly everywhere on the neck. Comes with Deluxe Hardshell Case.
