Stunning Custom Shop 1936 Reissue J-35!

The J-35 evolved from the Jumbo in 1936, at a time when the Great Depression was still raging in America. Gibson developed the J-35 as a pared-down model to offer musicians a warm, balanced instrument. This Custom Historic 1936 J-35 delivers the look, feel, and sound of our iconic J-35 in a seasoned vintage style. Our master luthiers in Bozeman, Montana have created a beautifully vintage-inspired instrument that is sure to be coveted by even the most discerning flat-top players. The 1936 J-35 features a thermally aged red Adirondack spruce top held together with hidden glue-on construction, a wide 1.77'' nut width, an open-slot bridge, a bone saddle, and cream button tuners.
