Beneath the flamed maple top lies the familiar mahogany body of an SG, paired with a Slim Taper mahogany neck. The double-cutaway design gives you all the room you need to explore the higher frets. This is an electric guitar for players who love that direct SG feel while also wanting more tonal possibilities at their fingertips.

The 57 Classic in the neck position and the Super 57 Classic at the bridge offer two different takes on the warm, clear sound of humbuckers. From full chords to sharply defined solo lines, the pickup selector and individual volume and tone controls allow you to switch characters quickly. The push-pull volume knobs and internal DIP switches further expand the wiring options, including features like coil-splitting or tapping and a high-pass filter. In this way, this SG invites you not to get stuck on just one familiar setting.

The guitar features a Richlite fretboard with 24 frets, a 12-inch radius, and a 24.75-inch scale length. The aluminum Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar are complemented by an adjustable titanium zero-fret nut and locking tuners. The Slim Taper mahogany neck makes fast position changes comfortable, while the included hard case protects the instrument on the go. The Blood Orange Fade finish and flamed maple top give this HP-II a distinctive look without overshadowing its practical features.

This pre-owned instrument is in very clean condition. Only some light checking is visible in the finish; all parts are original. For shipping or pickup, the instrument will be inspected and, if necessary, set up by our technician.

Curious to see what this versatile SG can do in your hands?
