The Fire Smokeburst finish immediately sets the tone: fiery, dark and full of character on a figured maple 10-Top that looks spectacular. This is the Custom 24 for the guitarist who wants more than the familiar, without compromising on the PRS quality he stands for.

The two PRS Metal pickups replace the standard 85/15s for more output, a tighter bass and a more aggressive character that perfectly matches the Floyd Rose setup. They deliver a direct, powerful sound with great definition, even at high gain. The 5-way blade switch provides access to five positions, from full humbucker to clear single coil character. The ebony fretboard in combination with the Metal pickups gives the guitar a tightness and attack that sets it apart from any other Custom 24.

The Floyd Rose 1000 tremolo system works together with the PRS Phase III Locking Tuners for exceptional tuning stability, even during the most extreme divebombs and whammy techniques. The mahogany body and set neck in Pattern Thin profile are as comfortable as on any other Custom 24, with the ebony fretboard with 24 frets and Bird Inlays as a special feature. CAB finish (nitro over cellulose) protects the lacquer without restricting the wood's ability to breathe.
