Nylon-string Lowden from the Jazz Series with rosewood back and sides: pure art.

Well, what more can you say about Lowden? There are few guitar brands that work with such an eye for detail. Every guitar just feels and sounds perfect, and with that, George Lowden's Irish company delivers unprecedented consistency. This is also the case with this S-32J from the Jazz Series, where the denominator Jazz in this case refers to the nylon-string configuration of the guitar. The model is the result of an evolution that started in 1987, with the idea that it feels like coming home for both classically trained guitarists and musicians who have more affinity for steel-string acoustic guitars. For example, the neck is wider than a standard Lowden so that there is enough room for the nylon strings, but at the same time, a more convex fingerboard has been chosen than you would normally find on a classical (nylon) guitar. As a result, the S-32J Jazz Nylon lends itself to a large number of music and playing styles and chord parts remain beautifully intact. In addition, a nice compromise has also been found between a resonant body (in this case with East Indian Rosewood) and a somewhat stiffer Alpine Spruce top so that the whole does not start to sing around in a live situation. Speaking of live situations, the S-32J is equipped with the LR Baggs Session VTC cartridge. The result is a lively acoustic guitar that holds together nicely across the entire frequency range, with tight lows and beautiful, singing highs. Includes hard case.
