The Powers Electric A-Type is a guitar you don't just come across. Hand-built in small batches, designed by guitarists for guitarists, and finished in a two-tone combination of Dolomite Silver on the front and London Grey on the back that is as subtle as it is striking. This is an instrument for the player who knows what they're looking for and is willing to choose it.

The tone of the A-Type is determined by the combination of an Urban Ash body with a Solid Maple top and two PF42 pickups. This combination delivers a clear, open sound with a natural acoustic resonance that you feel as soon as you play the first note. The PF42 pickups are designed to respond transparently and dynamically to your attack, from clean and glassy to warm and full, depending on how you play and what your amplifier does.

The one-piece mahogany neck has its own Powers Electric profile with an asymmetrical radius, which gives the hand an intuitive position across the entire 24.875" scale length. The 21-fret Honduran Rosewood fretboard with Twin Arch inlays is both visually and tactilely a delight. The Camshaft Tailpiece with vibrato offers subtle expression without compromising tuning, supported by closed-back tuners.
