The PRS Custom 24 35th Anniversary is a celebration of 35 years of guitar building and innovation, built around the model that put Paul Reed Smith on the map. This limited edition combines the fundamental elements of the iconic Custom 24 with the musical functionality of Paul's Guitar, and the result is a platform that is more versatile than ever. This particular example shows some signs of use, but plays fantastically thanks to a full setup by our luthier Bob.

The guitar looks good, has a small ding on the back that we immediately repaired and polished, and a discoloration on the bottom (see photo). The sound of the 35th Anniversary Custom 24 is big, nuanced, and extremely versatile. The 85/15 treble and bass pickups are coupled with two mini-toggle switches that give you the ability to set each pickup individually or both simultaneously in humbucking or true single-coil mode. From warm, full humbucking tones to bright, transparent single-coil sounds: this guitar covers the full spectrum and responds directly to every nuance in your playing style.

The body is constructed from mahogany with a carved figured maple top. The mahogany neck has a Pattern Regular or Pattern Thin profile and flows into a rosewood fretboard with 24 frets, Bird inlays, and a 25" scale length. Hardware consists of a PRS Gen III Patented Tremolo, Phase III tuners with Faux-Bone buttons, and nickel hardware. Electronics: 85/15 treble and bass pickups, volume and tone control, 3-way toggle pickup switch, and two mini-toggle coil-tap switches.
