The Sterling Version of the ultra-modern DarkRay Bass!
The Sterling Darkray combines the - already fantastic - sound of the Stingray model with the Alpha and Omega Preamps from Darkglass. You read that right: these are built into the bass! The Alpha-Preamp is a fat overdrive with pronounced mids, allowing you to cut through any (rock) mix effortlessly. The Omega-Preamp is a rugged fuzz with a sharp bite in the highs. With the illuminated LED ring, you can easily switch between both preamps, and with the two-band EQ, you can adjust your sound to your liking in no time. And all without pedals!
Besides the innovative Darkglass Preamps, the Sterling Darkray is also simply a great bass. The neck is made of roasted maple for optimal stability, and the body is made of Nyatoh, a warm-sounding wood with plenty of sustain. Furthermore, the Darkray features cool Open-Gear Tuners and a rocking H-1 Alnico Humbucker Pickup. It comes with a Deluxe Gigbag.
