The signature guitar of a true musical centipede, in a unique finish!

Andy Wood has been known for years as a guitarist who pushes the boundaries between countless genres, from hard rock to bluegrass to fusion, to name a few! It is therefore not surprising that he joined forces with Suhr to design a guitar that is at home in any musical context. The first thing to notice here is the Whiskey Barrel finish, which is made by unleashing a gas burner on the Swamp Ash! Not only does this look cool, it also gives the guitar a unique feel as you can clearly feel the grain in the wood. The pickups are Thornbuckers, which not only have a nice growl, but also stay upright for the more funky work thanks to the split coil functionality. At first glance you would say that we are dealing with a T-style guitar here, but this Suhr does not stop there. The Gotoh 510 tremolo is a nice bonus, and thanks to the five-way pickup switch you can use Strat-like intermediate positions. You're probably starting to see why a jack-of-all-trades like Andy Wood swears by this Suhr! And the guitar doesn't just sound fantastic, it feels extremely solid thanks to the Roasted Maple neck with 16" radius and Jumbo Stainless Steel frets. Hard case included.
