Suhr Pete Thorn Standard HSS Ocean Turquoise with Ebony Fretboard and Thornbucker II

The Suhr Pete Thorn Standard HSS Ocean Turquoise is the HSS version of Pete Thorn's signature guitar, and it's instantly recognizable. The Ocean Turquoise finish on the Alder body has a fresh, cool look that matches Pete Thorn's style, and the Ebony fretboard gives the instrument a sleek, fast playing feel that is ideal for the versatile playing style Thorn is known for. The Roasted Maple neck is based on his favorite '64 Stratocaster neck, and that's immediately noticeable.

The Ebony fretboard with Soft Medium V PT profile (.830-.910) plays fast and precisely, with 22 Jumbo Stainless Steel frets, dot inlays, and a 10-14 compound radius. The Thornbucker II (bridge) and two V63 single coils are controlled via a 5-way switch with volume and tone. The Wilkinson 2-Post Locking tremolo and Suhr locking tuners ensure stable tuning even with intensive use. Weight 3.7 kg, scale 25.5, includes hardshell case.

The Thornbucker II is a new generation of the Thornbucker, specially developed for the HSS configuration. It is beautifully balanced with the V63 single coils, giving the 5-way switch access to a wide tonal palette from warm and full to bright and glassy. A guitar for players who want everything without compromise.
