The Suhr Standard Plus is not a guitar for those who settle for less. With a Flame Maple top in the striking Bahama Blue finish, this S-style combines the best of both worlds: the familiar ergonomics of a classic single-cut-inspired body with the precision and tonal quality for which Suhr is known worldwide. This is an instrument you don't just play, but also feel.

The sound of the Standard Plus is versatile and direct. The SSH+ humbucker in the bridge delivers a powerful, defined tone with excellent dynamic response, while the two V60 single coils in the mid and neck positions provide that glassy, open Strat tone you expect from a guitar in this class. The combination makes the Standard Plus at home in blues, rock, fusion, and everything in between.

The body is constructed from Basswood with a Flame Maple top, complemented by a Roasted Maple neck in the Even C Slim shape (.800"-.880") and a Pau Ferro fretboard with a 10"-14" compound radius. The 22 Heavy Stainless Steel frets (.051"x.108") play smoothly and last a lifetime. The Gotoh 510 bridge with steel block provides excellent sustain and tuning stability, supported by Suhr Locking tuners. Delivered with gig bag.
