All-solid and built in California: the 314ce that can handle any playing style
The Taylor 314ce Next Generation is the entry into Taylor's all-solid wood 300 Series, and you notice it immediately. A solid Sitka Spruce top and solid Sapele back and sides give the guitar a warm, balanced tone with a clear midrange and enough brightness for both strumming and fingerpicking. The Grand Auditorium body is Taylor's most versatile size: large enough for volume and projection, compact enough for comfortable play.
The V-Class bracing makes all the difference. The bass is tighter and more defined than on older Taylor models, the projection is more powerful, and the intonation is excellent across the entire register. Whether you're playing chords or melodic lines, the 314ce responds exactly as you expect. The Tropical Mahogany neck with ebony fretboard feels comfortable and plays smoothly. The ES2 pickup system delivers a natural amplified sound that fully preserves the acoustic qualities.
The guitar is built in Taylor's factory in El Cajon, California, and comes with a case.
The Taylor 314ce Next Generation is for the guitarist who is looking for a reliable, versatile all-solid instrument that grows with their playing, without compromising on quality or sound.
