Walrus Audio Fundamental Reverb: Hall, Spring, and Plate in an Affordable Entry-Level Pedal
The Walrus Audio Fundamental Series Reverb is the ideal first reverb pedal for guitarists who want to explore the three classic reverb types without having to choose between quality and budget. Hall, Spring, and Plate are the most commonly used reverb types in guitar music, and the Fundamental Reverb offers convincing emulations of all three in a compact and easy-to-operate pedal.
Hall provides a large, spacious reverb reminiscent of a concert hall. Spring sounds like the classic spring reverb found in vintage guitar amplifiers: a distinctive, slightly bouncy sound that perfectly suits surf, country, and blues. Plate delivers a dense, even reverb that sounds wide and clear, ideal for vocals and lead guitar. Decay, Tone, and Mix control the length of the reverb, its brightness, and the ratio of dry to wet signal.
The Fundamental Reverb has 1/4" input and output and is powered via 9V DC. Controls include Decay, Tone, Mix, and Reverb Type (Hall, Spring, Plate).
