The MAKO R1 is Walrus Audio's flagship reverb pedal and proof that versatility and sound quality can go hand in hand. The goal was simple: as many reverb options as possible in the most compact pedal possible, without compromising on sound. The result is a pedal that covers the full spectrum, from a subtle layer of ambiance that enriches your mix to over-the-top, glitchy, and futuristic reverb textures that create a world of their own.

The R1 offers multiple reverb programs, each with its own Tweak parameter that allows for in-depth adjustment without getting lost in menus. The Swell knob adds a volume swell to the reverb signal for atmospheric swells and pads. Presets make it easy to save and instantly recall your favorite sounds. MIDI in and out make the R1 suitable for complex rigs and pedalboard automation. Bypass is adjustable as true bypass, buffered bypass, or DSP bypass.

The R1 has stereo I/O, a bypass footswitch, a sustain/latch footswitch, USB-in, MIDI In, and MIDI Out. Power via 9V DC center-negative (300 mA). Controls include Decay, Swell, Mix, Tweak, Program, and Tune.
