Walrus Audio Melee Reverb & Distortion

As retro as the joystick design is, the approach of the Walrus Audio Melee is so progressive. This pedal contains a rare combination: Distortion and Reverb. The target? Create overwhelming, gigantic soundscapes!

The controls of the Melee have been kept wonderfully simple. The Joystick works in 2 axes: from left to right you control the Reverb Mix, from top to bottom you control the amount of distortion. You also have a volume control and separate toggle switches for tone, decay and - this is where it gets really fun - the order of the 2 effects. Because if you put the Reverb before the Distortion, you end up in Shoegaze heaven! A nice addition is the Sustain footswitch, which works both latching and momentary. You also have access to 3 different reverbs: Ambient, Reverse and Octave Down. Especially that last one is pretty exciting before the distortion... to say the least!
