The most complete delay pedal in its price range: the MAKO D1 multi-function delay with countless options!

The D1 High-Fidelity Delay is the first pedal from Walrus Audio's new Mako series and this effect unit can best be described as a powerful multi-function delay. The pedal is equipped with five beautiful sounding delay types, namely Digital, Mod, Vintage, Dual and Reverse. In addition to the standard controls you expect with a delay (Time, Repeats & Mix), within each delay 'program' you have control over the degree of modulation, tone and age (the age of the delay) via the Tweak knob. But the depth of the pedal doesn't stop here. You also have control over which subdivisions you want to make (1/4, 1/8 and dotted 1/8) and you determine with the Attack button how hard or soft the attack of the echoes is. This gives you the ability to create soft, blending soundscapes on longer repeats. Tap functionality, preset options and stereo inputs and outputs round it off convincingly. What a complete pedal and what functionality in such a compact housing. We are fans!

Digital - A crystal clear digital delay that lends itself well to rhythm parts where definition is important.

Mod - The Mod delay is distinguished by the unique modulation LFOs in the echo repeats that operate on a random basis. This produces an unpredictable warble: very inspiring.

Vintage – The most authentic sound in the D1: the Vintage delay sounds like a beautiful old-fashioned echo. With the Tweak knob you can get the most out of this effect by adjusting the Tone and Age of the delay.

Dual - Two delays in parallel, both with a different time division. Very inspiring in stereo mode.

Reverse - Plays the delay backwards.
